Moxie - Live @ Mixmag Lab LDN 2018

Moxie's sets ebb and flow between the funky and the ferocious; she is as likely to draw for a slab of disco delight as she is a grubby electro cut. She runs her own label, On Loop, which has released killer tracks from the likes of Shanti Celeste, Mella Dee and JD Reid. She also hosts an NTS show, which recently got made into a weekly slot. All this with a broken foot... The fourth instalment of her compilation series - 'Moxie Presents Volume 4' - is due for release October 26 via On Loop, featuring tracks from LuckyMe mainstay Nathan Micay, American stalwart Lady Blacktronika and many more.

The Crystal Method - Live @ Mixmag Lab LA 2018

Big beat pioneer The Crystal Method returns to The Lab LA this week. Formerly a duo, today's Crystal Method is represented by founding member Scott Kirkland, who brings with him over two decades of innovation and electrifying sound and performance. September marked the newest development for The Crystal Method's now solo continuation with the release of 'A Trip Home' out on Tiny E Records, the sixth full-length album release and first solo effort from Scott Kirkland under The Crystal Method name. It's equal parts throwback and boundary-pushing moments of the future. In support of the album release, The Crystal Method is currently embarking on 'The Trip Home' tour across North America, including a stop at KCRW's Viaduct Sunset series on October 19.
