Bambounou’s own productions form the core of his sets, often unreleased and tailor-made for the club. He was a mainstay on Modeselektor’s 50Weapons across 2012 to 2015, and recently returned to the release fore following a three year hiatus to put out the ‘Parametr Perkusja’ EP on Don’t DJ’s DISK imprint. Taking the time to hone his sound for the record, it features three breathtaking productions primed for the late-night dancefloor.

Tiefschwarz and Silky - Live @ Mixmag Lab LA 2018

Brothers Ali and Basti are Tiefschwarz, which directly translated, means a deep hue of black. It's a timeless meaning, much like the German duo's deep house sound. With over two decades of experience producing, remixing and DJing under their belts, Tiefschwarz are an incomparable pair that have held down residencies at some of the world's best venues like fabric and Watergate, appeared regularly at Space and Cocoon in Ibiza, reworked the likes of Masters at Work, Depeche Mode, Madonna and Missy Elliott, and show no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Ali of Tiefschwarz joins us in The Lab LA this Friday. London born Silky is a house and techno talent guided early on in his career by the legendary Frankie Knuckles. Brought into the music through piano and self-taught production skills, Silky has seen releases out on No.19 Music, Superfreq, My Favorite Robot Records, Akbal, Culprit and more. The Los Angeles-based artist is also a DJ dedicated to his craft, sticking to his early roots and utilizing vinyl in his sets still, today.

Seb Zito - Live @ Mixmag Lab LDN 2018

Fresh off the back of an Australia and New Zealand tour, Seb Zito’s whirlwind summer is just getting started with multiple gigs across Europe, including sets with the FUSE crew at their first ever party in Bristol at Motion this Saturday and alongside Enzo Siragusa and Rossko for a FUSE showcase at Amnesia Ibiza on July 16. His tendency to spin warm sounds makes his sets the perfect complement to the sunny season. Zito’s illustrious production career has seen him release across respected imprints such as Fuse London, Vatos Locos, Rawax and more, showing a mastery for rolling basslines and tracks soaked in hypnotic reverb. His ‘Good To Me’ EP landed on Fuse last month, and next up he has a new record titled ‘Only’ coming on Seth Troxler’s Play It Say it imprint.
